"A Celebration of Unity"

Welcome "Home" once again, family.  Come one, come all to fellowship, reminisce, exchange memories, have fun and enjoy each other.  Yes, the time is drawing close for the gathering of family for the next reunion.  We are looking forward to seeing everyone on August 5 - 7, 2011.

The reunion will be centered at the Quality Inn - Dutch Inn on Hwy 220 Business Collinsville, VA.  50 rooms have been blocked off in reservation to the Hairston-Gallant Family Reunion.  The cost for a room is $64.15 w/tax per night.  The price rate is good until July 22, 2011.  There will be other gatherings that same weekend.  We urge you to make your reservations as soon as possible, by contacting the motel 1-276-647-3721.  Note:  This rate is the same rate as 2 years ago.  No breakfast tickets with this rate.

This year we plan to spend the day at Fairystone Park on Saturday.  There will not be a banquet at the hotel.  We will provide additional information at a later date.  The cost for the Sunday Breakfast is:  $12.90 for Adults, $6.45 for Children 3 - 1- years old, Free 2 years old and under.

We pray that everyone who comes will participate.  The deadline to pay for the meal is July 29, 2011.  A head count must be submitted by August 1, 2011.

Monies for your meal should be sent to:  Bubbee McGhee, 140 John Spencer Road, Martinsville, VA 24112.  We can only accept cash, money orders and cashier's checks made out to Hairston-Gallant Family Reunion.

We plan to have our auction and business meeting on Friday, Augst 5, 2011.  Please don't forget to bring your items to be auctioned.  Refreshments will be provided during registration.  On Saturday, August 6, 2011 will be a day of picnic, games and fun in the park to include the fashion and talent show.  The information on the golf tournament will be provided at a later date.  Sunday, August 7, 2011 will conclude with the breakfast at 8:00 AM and memorial service will follow at the hotel.  Detail information concerning the weekend activities will follow at a later date.
