Happy New Year Family!
It’s been awhile since the last update regarding the 2012 Family Reunion. However, the reunion committee continues to communicate via conference calls in an effort to discuss and finalize the specific details on the reunion. The purpose of this letter is to provide you with additional information as it relates to the room reservations, cost of the meal and other miscellaneous items.
March 1, 2012 was the original deadline to secure your room and make your hotel reservations at either the Ocean Dunes Resort & Villas or Sand Dunes Resort and Spa (room types and rates attached). We have received approval from the Resort to extend the room reservation deadline to May 1, 2012. To date, we have not reached the agreed upon quota of hotel rooms. The committee is encouraging each of you to please make a strong effort to reserve your room as soon as possible.

To make your hotel reservations, please call 1-800-599-9872. When making your reservation, please mention HAIRSTON-GALLANT FAMILY REUNION. Note: The hotel cannot guarantee that they will have rooms available after May 1, 2012.

Thursday, August 2, 2012 – On Your Own
Friday, August 3, 2012; Bali Ballroom, 5:00pm – 10:00pm
Meet & Greet, Registration, Business Meeting (This is our year to vote for National Officers so your attendance is important), Auction and Fellowship.
Saturday, August 4, 2012; DINNER & PROGRAM
Buffet style, Casual Attire - Atlantic Ballroom, 7:00pm-11pm
The cost for the meal: All monies due on or before June 1, 2012.
$28.00 per adult
$14.00 for ages 4 to 12
Free for ages 0- 3
Please mail completed meal order form and payment to Drema Littlejohn, 5004 56th Avenue, Hyattsville, Maryland 20781. We can only accept cash, money orders or cashier check payable to Drema Littlejohn. Note: Once again, we must reach our quota in order to honor the terms of the contract. Therefore, the committee is encouraging each of you to please make a strong effort to participate.
